Location: Farnborough - Hybrid Working Duration: April 23rd with option to extend Rate: £600 - £658 a day Outside IR35 Please Note: SC is essential Role Purpose To ensure delivery is always focused on providing value and mission impact, an agile methodology is used to offer opportunities for the customer to refine the technical goals of a commission, or fail early if required. Working across a range of commissions and customers including: Delivering the critical and priority capability development commissions to drive innovation and capability development - these will typically be proofs of concept covering areas such as AI, ML, NLP, Data Science and Research activities Delivering a portfolio of work, through multiple commissions, that focus on proof of concepts that will enable a future critical intelligence capability. General Responsibilities: Delivery Management: The Delivery Manager is expected to have strong project management skills and experience. As the portfolio grows it is likely that the successful candidate will be required to manage any coordination across customers and commissions. Stakeholder Engagement: Able to collaborate with customers and tech leads (TL) to scope and address problems and requirements Portfolio and commission planning: Will be the lead for developing commission approach and proposals, managing the initial risks through pre-delivery and progressing commissions through the DIRIC approvals process Delivery Assurance and Quality: Will ensure that delivery quality is standardised and maintained across the portfolio commissions Financial and Commercial: Support potential competitions with industry, alongside the TL and Supply Chain. Select the correct supplier(s), by facilitating workshops and determining prioritisation and scoring matrices. Will assure individual commission finances and will be accountable to customer finance and commercial teams on overarching spend and wider commercial implications.
